Once upon a time there was a little girl named Lena who was always very polite. Lena always said "please" and "thank you" and always asked if she could have something before she took it. One day Lena went to the park with her parents to play. She saw a big climbing frame and really wanted to climb up, but she knew she had to ask permission first.
Lena went to her father and politely said, "Dad, can I please climb on the jungle gym?" Her father smiled and said, "Yes, of course, but be careful and remember to always use your hands and feet." Lena thanked her father and quickly climbed on the climbing frame.
She had a lot of fun and kept climbing up and down. When she came back down, she saw another girl who wanted to play on the climbing frame but couldn't get up. Lena went up to the girl and politely said, "Would you like me to help you get up? I'm good at climbing."
The girl looked at Lena gratefully and said, "Yes, please! I'd like to come up, but I can't do it by myself." Lena smiled and helped the girl get up. She showed her how to hold on and use her feet to climb up. The girl had a lot of fun and thanked Lena when they came back down. Lena was very happy that she had been able to help the girl and that she had been polite and kind. She learned that politeness is rewarded and that it is important to help others and to be kind.
